We received today the following email and supporting photograph .........Hi Simon,
You may remember selling me the Southern Yellow Pine , and Siberian Larch last year. Well we finally finished just in time for xmas.and i thought you might like to see the finished article.
The Southern Yellow cased out the windows , and the Larch was for the roof. Both seem to be coping with the heat quite well.

Capricorn Timber has just completed the purchase of a 16 acre site, near Uttoxeter, which includes 162,500 square feet of undercover storage , for immediate use, and 25,000 square feet for a new mill facility.
The mill is expected to be in full production by march 2007.
All the operations will be centralised on one self contained site, which will lead to increased effeciency, and improved levels of customer service.

Cedar Decking.

Just arrived we have a parcel of Architectural, tight knotted Cedar.
The material is planed all round. Importantly the stock is 100% heartwood, fine grain ,and Kiln Dried. Edges are slightly rounded.
The fin size is 40x140mm.
This particular arrival is all 12' lengths.
The durability of cedar, makes it ideal for decking.

We have a parcel of Cypress (Taxodium distichum) arriving in to our yard in the next 7 10 days.
The significance of this timber is that its qualities of extreme durability, and stability in situ, are entirely similar to that of Western Red Cedar and Siberian Larch.
The addition of this material further complements our range of naturally durable Softwoods from sustainable sources.
.The material is Kiln Dried, and therefore is entirely suitable also for interior use.
We believe that the timber will rapidly establish in this country, as it has in the United States ,for Cladding and Decking etc.
The timber emanates from the Atlantic Coastal Plain from Delaware to Florida ,and west along the Gulf of Mexico,to the border of Texas and Mexico.
Our shipment contains the following sizes :-
1x 4 ,1x 6,1x8,and 2x8 . lengths are 8 & longer.
Easily machined, Cypress typically displays a predominantly yellow tone, with reddish ,chocolate or olive hues.
